Woman goes home after fatal crash
A Hudson woman whose 5-month-old son died Monday after her Geo Storm was struck by a rock truck on U.S. 98 was released early Tuesday from the hospital. Danielle Maye Miller, 19, was at a stop sign about 8:45 a.m. on Lake Lindsey Road, east of U.S. 98, a Florida Highway Patrol report said, when she pulled out in front of a loaded rock truck headed south on U.S. 98. Her son, Daniel Currier Jr., was strapped in a car seat. Both mother and son were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa where the boy died.
