In early December I called for the Dr. Atkins diet program at a cost of $71.75 and received the videos and the "Why It Works" program along with a ketone test kit. There were no instructions on how to evaluate the ketone strips. I tried several times to reach them at a toll-free number that never worked. I then called the regular customer service line on Jan. 15 and 23, and simply requested the necessary information on the use of the strips. I have never received a reply although each time I left my phone number and e-mail address.
