Man shot in attempted robbery

DADE CITY -- An employee was shot outside a beauty supply store Tuesday during a robbery attempt as he was closing up for the night.
Authorities said the 31-year-old man, whose name had not been released, was leaving Shake and Go Beauty Supply on U.S. 98 Bypass about 8 p.m. when two men flung him over his car and demanded money. The employee was shot in the upper left thigh and then broke his left arm as he fell, authorities said. The employee was being flown to a hospital Tuesday night as law officers searched for the attackers.
