Chasco Fiesta's nightly entertainment schedule continues tonight with "Family Night Contemporary Christian" music, with headliners Salvador and opening act the Desert Rain Band. The show starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m.

Salvador has been nominated for Latin Christian Gospel Album of the Year for its Into Motion. Winners will be announced May 8 in Miami, just five days before Salvador releases its newest album.

The group is set to perform for the Billy Graham Crusade on May 10 in San Diego and has performed at Promise Keepers men's rallies in the past.

The seven-member, Austin-based group says its music is centered on praise and worship, but its musicality has been equally praised by fans and reviewers. The sound has a Latin beat, with lots of brass backed up with woodwinds. (For a sample, go to www.salvadorlive.com/)

The big food event for today is the Cotee River Lions club fish fry. Plates of fish, hush puppies and cole slaw go for $6 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Sims Park.

Of course, all the other food booths will be open from 5 to 11 p.m., as will be the carnival.

The "Native American Festival and Dance Competition" will go from noon to 11 p.m.
