South Florida might dress eight players for the third straight game Saturday at Nebraska. Junior forward Brandon Brigman's status remains uncertain due to a hernia, and redshirt freshman forward Sam Barber might not return to the team for undisclosed reasons. Both have missed the past two games.
Barber has not participated in team activities since before Saturday's game against Wright State.
"It's just personal stuff that's going on there," coach Robert McCullum said after Tuesday's 84-60 loss at Providence. "I talked with him for a long time Sunday night, and I plan to meet with him again (Wednesday)."
McCullum was expected to address the status of both today at a media luncheon. Walk-ons Alton Darling and Brian Graham will not become eligible until the semester break this month. Sophomore guard Danny Oglesby quit in October.
