Bryce Crouch, Palm Harbor University, softball: The pitcher assumed the role as the team's ace with the departure of Dani Hofer. She pitched well, going 22-5 and averaging 13 strikeouts for a team that won conference and district titles and advanced to the region quarterfinals.

Robbie Shields, Pasco, baseball: The senior shortstop made the conty home run race interesting, challenging Land O'Lakes' Caz Piurowski late to tie him with 18, one shy of the state record.
Olivia Kline, Mitchell, softball: A freshman pitcher/designated hitter, Kline blasted a county single-season record eight home runs. None of those shots meant more than a three-run homer that helped the Mustangs beat Sarasota Riverview 5-3 in a region quarterfinal.

Randy Hernandez, Citrus, baseball: The senior home run hitter batted .376, led the 'Canes with 37 RBIs, 41 hits and 16 doubles, scored 29 runs and had a county-high seven home runs.
Christina Hollback, Lecanto, softball: The junior outfielder broke the Panthers' 16-year-old single-season batting record of .514 and slugged at a .681 clip. He had 17 RBIs and a 1.94 ERA.

Ryan Knight, Hernando Christian Academy, baseball: The senior was the winning pitcher in the Lions' region quarterfinal victory over Seffner Christian., extending his season record to 7-1.
Jaleesa Scott, Nature Coast Tech, soccer: The senior forward became the only soccer player from Hernando County to sign a Division I letter of intent, inking with South Florida in early May.
